Jackson County Health Department is proud to
participate in the Vaccines for Children Program (VFC). VFC
helps families by providing free vaccines to doctors or clinics who
serve eligible children and is administered at the national level by
the CDC through the National Immunization Program.
Childhood vaccinations are
available for no charge
at the Jackson County Health Department.
Jackson County Health Department provides vaccinations for the
following vaccine-preventable diseases for Children
Diphtheria
Tetanus (Lockjaw)
Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
Hepatitis B
Polio
Pneumococcus
Measles
Mumps
Rubella (German Measles)
Varicella (Chickenpox)
Hepatitis A (as needed)
Influenza (as needed)
Pneumonia (as needed)
Meningococcal Coming Soon
Adult vaccines are provided on a limited basis at a nominal fee.
Vaccines offer include:
Tetanus/Diphtheria
Measles/Mumps/Rubella
Hepatitis B (to eligible high risk clients)
Hepatitis A (to eligible high risk clients)
Influenza (based on availability)
Pneumonia

As part of The
Early Childhood Immunization Initiative, the Bureau of
Immunization has launched a new web site,
www.ImmunizeFlorida.org .
The site contains comprehensive information for medical
providers, parents, and the community regarding early
