This program is funded through a grant from the Center’s for Disease Control and is nationally referred to as the Florida Breast & Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program. The Jackson County Health Department site serves the following counties: Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Liberty, Walton & Washington. Women can receive services at the health department nearest to them. The mission of this program is to provide critical breast & cervical cancer screening services to underserved women.

SERVICES PROVIDED BY OUR LOCAL FBCCEDP OFFICE

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  We at the Florida Breast and Cervical Early Detection Program encourage family and friends to get an annual clinical breast exam and mammogram.  Learn to do self breast exams.  Good breast health can help find breast cancer at its earliest stages.
