 JCHD ARNPs

The Family Planning program at Jackson County Health Department is a federally funded program open to all women of childbearing age and their partners.

Services are provided on a sliding fee scale (cost, if any, is determined by client's income and family size) and include annual physicals, birth control methods and supply, including tubal ligation and vasectomy, management of abnormal  pap smears, Sexually Transmitted disease evaluation and treatment, and episodic problem visits.

Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday and exams are done by either a MD or an ARNP at the Marianna and Graceville Clinics.

There is a large emphasis placed on counseling and education.  Clients are encouraged to participate in their own care by asking questions.
