may appear expensive with each trip to the supermarket, but the cost of
poor nutrition is considerable --- coping with chronic diseases,

The Jackson County Farmer's Market will be opening Saturday, May 10th.
The market will be open each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning.
Arrive early for the best selection. The market opens at 6:00 a.m.
Keep in mind the farmers leave after they sell their entire amount of
picked product; typically, mid-morning. This is a great opportunity to
purchase fresh fruits and vegetables with which to "paint your plate".
DYK? A yawn doesn't always
mean you're tired; a sigh doesn't always mean you're in love. Sometimes
these phenomena simply mean that your body is relieving itself of
stress.

Hello everyone,
More than 100 years ago the major causes of death, such as pneumonia,
tuberculosis, bronchitis, and digestive diseases, were most likely to
have been "caught". Taking into consideration one can't avoid
hereditary and some environmental factors, today's diseases are most
likely to be "contracted" from neglect of the body.
Examples are heart disease and stroke, cancer, and diabetes.
Benefit your health status by employing positive choices and remember
"stick-with-it-ness" counts! |
